Our location in Farmingdale, NJ is seeking a motivated individual to join our customer service representatives at our steel counter. Job responsibilities include:
- Greet customers in person and on phone
- Process sales using our Point of Sale computer System
- Handling other clerical work as required
- Interacting with customers in person, by phone, and by e-mail.
- Processing transactions, orders & quotes
- Following up with customers regarding quotes in a timely manner
- Staying organized and able to handle multiple tasks at once
- Performing paperwork associated with orders and quotes
The perfect candidate will be:
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Motivated
- Personable
- Have a positive attitude
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- No Experience Necessary- We will train the right person!
And will have
- Basic Math skills (very important)
- Be able to read a tape measure
- Basic computer knowledge
- A strong work ethic
