    Hours/Day: 8 hours/day
    Days/Year: 261 days
    Compensation/benefits: Association of Clerical Employees Contract

    About This Role:

    The school secretary is often the first point of contact for our students, families, and staff—and plays a vital role in setting the tone for our school. We are seeking someone who leads with care, communicates with kindness, and thrives in a diverse, fast-paced school environment.
    This role supports the principal and school team by ensuring smooth daily operations, managing communication, and providing high-quality administrative support that helps our school run efficiently and effectively.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Welcome and support students, families, and visitors with warmth and professionalism
    • Build positive relationships with a diverse school community
    • Provide administrative support to the principal and school staff
    • Manage student information, attendance, and data systems
    • Support budget tracking and office operations
    • Utilize technology systems efficiently to support school functions
    • Communicate clearly and consistently with families and staff

    Qualifications:
    • 2 years of post-secondary education (4-year degree preferred), or equivalent experience
    • 3–5 years of office, computer, and/or accounting experience
    • Experience in a school setting preferred
    • Strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills
    • Commitment to working in a diverse and inclusive environment
