Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist to join our dynamic veterinary team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of veterinary terminology, and a passion for animal care. As the first point of contact for clients and their pets, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations, scheduling appointments, managing client inquiries, and supporting the overall well-being of our animal patients.
Duties
- Greet clients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience from arrival to departure.
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using our veterinary management software.
- Handle medical billing and collections accurately while maintaining confidentiality.
- Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes, including updating medical records.
- Communicate effectively with veterinary staff regarding patient care and treatment plans.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area to uphold hygiene standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions about pet health, treatments, and clinic policies.
Experience
Candidates should demonstrate prior experience in a veterinary or animal care setting.
Pay: $14.50 – $15.00 per hour
