We are a growing machine shop in Anderson, SC specializing in precision manufacturing and quality craftsmanship. We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Sales Support Specialist to join our team and support daily administrative and sales operations.
Position Summary
The Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting our sales and administrative functions. This position requires strong organizational skills, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain accurate data in the SAGE ERP system
- Prepare customer quotes and assist with sales documentation
- Support payroll processing and invoicing activities
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties
- Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to generate reports, documents, and spreadsheets
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely information flow
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales support, administrative, or office roles (manufacturing environment preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word and Excel
- Experience with SAGE ERP or similar systems strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
