The candidate ideally will reside in the Kansas City metro area with a hybrid schedule. Can be 100% remote for the right candidate.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Sales Support Specialist is a key part of the Vitori Health sales process, playing a front-line role in performing sales administrative functions essential to converting prospects to clients. The primary responsibility of the Sales Support Specialist is to handle the new opportunity process from intake to proposal generation. The role includes external facing engagement with brokers and vendors through gathering and disseminating information. This individual will also assist in preparing sales reports and other support activities as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Initiate and complete the new opportunity intake process
· Submit RFQ’s to stop-loss carriers and general agencies
· Update Client Relationship Manager (CRM) with detailed notes
· Edit and refine proposals as needed
· Work cooperatively with sales team and become a valued resource to them
· Working with the Director, Analytics to identify areas of opportunity for process improvement and efficiency gain providing feedback and ideas
· Complete ad hoc duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Sales Support Specialist must be highly motivated and a self-starter. This individual needs to possess strong client service skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and solid problem-solving skills. The individual must be detail oriented and have exceptional organizational skills. The individual must be able to manage time-sensitive projects and multiple, sometimes conflicting, priorities. To perform the role, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
It is required that individuals have a high school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Outlook, Excel, and Word also required.
Individuals should have a minimum of one to three years’ experience working in an administrative or sales support capacity.
Prior experience with the following is a plus:
· TPA insurance services
· Stop-loss underwriting
· SharePoint
· Salesforce
· Adobe Acrobat DC

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. The employee will work primarily in an office environment during typical office hours with occasional overtime; the office environment has moderate temperatures and minimal noise levels. Occasional travel by car and airplane may be required.

Pay: $55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
