Key Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients with professionalism, creating a welcoming environment
- Verify insurance online and through direct contact with insurance companies as needed
- Complete new patient intake, insurance verification, appointment scheduling, and copay collection
- Maintain accurate records and patient communication in compliance with HIPAA guidelines
- Facilitate clear communication between patients and the clinical team
- Coordinate with the external billing company regarding insurance, billing, and collections
- Ensure adherence to clinic policies and all state and federal regulations
- Contribute ideas to improve office systems, workflows, and patient experience
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a medical front office or receptionist role required
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly, compassionate, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience with EMR systems

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
