Billing & Freight Clerk Jobs in Sumter, SC at J. H. Seale and Son Inc
Looking for an energetic team player to be a part of a growing fuel transport company. Experience in a similar environment is preferred, but we will train the right person.
The Billing & Freight Clerk plays an integral role in the daily billing process. Job tasks include:
Processing in-person and on-line customer payment transactions through various methods such as cash, online payments
Handling freight billing
Resolving account discrepancies, responds to customers’ concerns
Researching and resolving unbilled invoices, verifying invoices with bills of lading, rate tables, etc.
The Billing Clerk also functions as our receptionist, answering the phone, reviewing emails, greeting in-person customers; and assisting with other office duties as assigned. Must be able to multi-task, to work as a team member, and to work independently.
Qualifications and Requirements:
*Proficient in math and computer skills
*Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
*Attention to detail is a MUST
*Associate degree and/or minimum 3 year’s experience in logistics billing preferred
