Overview: BayBol Pediatrics is seeking a dedicated Medical Receptionist to join our pediatric outpatient clinic team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare practice by providing exceptional administrative support and customer service to patients and staff. Responsibilities: – Greet and assist patients in a friendly and professional manner at the front desk. – Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar efficiently. – Verify patient information, insurance coverage, and process necessary paperwork. – Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and courteously. – Maintain electronic health records accurately and ensure proper documentation review. – Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care effectively. – Perform medical billing tasks, including medical coding and collection procedures. – Utilize Athenahealth or similar systems for administrative tasks. – Manage front desk operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and patient flow. – Support medical office management by organizing files, supplies, and equipment. Skills: – Proficient in medical administrative support practices. – Familiarity with medical coding procedures. – Experience in medical office management tasks. – Skilled in general office operations and procedures. – Knowledge of medical collection processes. – Ability to work with Athenahealth or similar systems effectively. – Strong front desk management capabilities. – Attention to detail for accurate documentation review. – Familiarity with Meditech or related software is a plus.
