Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in marketing for assets business to achieve the target for Durban Branch & CIB.
  • Assist in marketing for liabilities business to achieve the target of Durban Branch & CIB.
  • Assist in identifying client needs and provide feedback to management to support the development of appropriate banking products
  • Deliver excellent customer service to the major enterprises and financial institutions of Durban Branch for establishing business relationship and promote RMB business locally.
  • Manage and coordinate the transaction processing of Durban Branch & CIB with the processing centre.
  • To diligently implement and manage customer due diligence duties.
  • Assist with implementing the policies, rulings, procedures and PPMs of Head Office and the Branch. Compliance with the Rules and Regulations of SARB, Company Act, Bank Act, FICA, AML, Sanction Compliance, etc.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities assigned by the branch’s management

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (recent graduates may be considered for the Graduate Intern Programme).
  • Minimum of 1 year's banking experience (not required for Graduate Intern applicants).
  • Sound understanding of banking products, operations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Mandarin/Chinese language proficiency will be advantageous.
