Barberton Tree Service Inc. is a family-owned and operated company located in Barberton, Ohio.

Our company is seeking a reliable, organized, and fast-learning individual to serve as a full-time assistant to the Company President. This position will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including bookkeeping, basic human resources, and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an office environment, patience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to perform efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping: Prepare monthly & quarterly reports as required.
  • Human Resources: Prepare and review intake paperwork for new hires, assist in the new hire setup process.
  • Advertising / Public Relations: Assist with various advertising and marketing tasks, as well as donations, charity work, community outreach etc.
  • Administrative: General office duties such as typing documents, preparing spreadsheets, writing up orders, general filing, and excellent organization skills.
  • Customer Service: Serving as a customer liaison and handling basic customer needs, questions, and disputes.
  • General tasks – such as picking up various supplies and materials.

Our ideal candidate will be proficient in QuickBooks / QuickBooks Online, mid-level computing skills or beyond. Other required skills include being highly proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Spreadsheets.

Job Type: Part-time (35+ hours per week)

Salary: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour (Based on years of experience and other qualifications)

  • Bookkeeping: 3 years (Preferred)

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
