Responsibilities:

– Manage and oversee daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
– Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and calendar events.
– Handle correspondence, including emails, memos, and other forms of communication.
– Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary.
– Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents.
– Support human resources activities, such as onboarding new employees and maintaining records.
– Implement and enforce office policies and procedures.
– Liaise with other departments to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
– Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
– Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

– Proven experience as an administrative officer, administrator, or in a similar role.
– Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Proficiency in office software (e.g., MS Office Suite) and office equipment.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
– Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles.

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field is preferred.
– 3-5 years of experience in an administrative role.
– Demonstrable experience with office management systems and procedures.
– Professional certification in office administration or related field is considered an asset.

Working Conditions:

– Full-time position with regular office hours.
– On-site work setting, requiring presence in the office during working hours.
– Ability to handle occasional stressful situations and deadlines.
