Join Our Team — Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist
Are you passionate about animals and providing excellent customer care? Crocker Veterinary Care is looking to add a dedicated, compassionate Veterinary Assistant/Receptionist to our growing team.
This is a cross-trained role, offering the opportunity to work both at the front desk and hands-on with patients. We are a mixed-animal practice, so you’ll gain valuable experience working with both small and large animals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
- Previous animal handling or veterinary experience is a plus, but not required — we’re happy to train the right person.
- A team player who is dependable, eager to learn, and willing to grow with our clinic.
Schedule & On-Call Rotation:
- Full-time position: approximately 4.5 days per week.
- Business hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–5:30 PM (with a 1-hour lunch).
- Rotating on-call schedule: typically once every 4 weeks.
- On-call hours: Monday–Friday 5:30–9 PM, Saturday 9 AM–9 PM, Sunday 1–6 PM.
- On-call weekends coincide with kennel care weekends.
- Calls are typically minimal (1–2 per week), and you are compensated per call.
