This role is a Travel and Expenses Manager in the Travel and Expenses Office. The position supports the office in providing advice, support and services to Members of Parliament, their staff, the SPCB and Parliament staff regarding travel and expenses.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver day‑to‑day administration of the Reimbursement of Members Expenses Scheme on behalf of the SPCB.
- Provide advice and guidance on the Scheme, maintaining its transparency and principles.
- Support and advise Members, their staff and SPS staff on the administration, processing and publication of travel and expenses.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues across the parliamentary service, building positive relationships and acting with integrity.
- Adapt to changing priorities, manage time efficiently and meet tight deadlines under pressure.
- Promote diversity and inclusion within a culture that values respect and inclusion.
Qualifications & Experience
- Excellent communication skills.
- Prior experience in travel and expenses, or a related administrative or financial role, is desirable.
- Experience in a job‑share or part‑time arrangement is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and adapt to changing priorities.
