Job Summary and Qualifications
The Transplant Assistant Post Kidney Transplant provides support for the solid organ transplant team.
What you will do in this role:
Greets patients, visitors to our medical office
Triages all phone calls into our Transplant Clinic
Triage and process messages from all patients
Provides assistance to patients when needed
Manages inventory of necessary office supplies and coordinates ordering
Ensure the reception area remains welcoming and organized
Patients transfers within the facility
Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider and clinical staff of any patient delays
Collects and provides data entry consistent with established quality and integrity standards
Maintains patient confidentiality
Supports medical record integrity
What qualifications you will need:
- 1-2 years clerical or medical office experience preferred
Ability to work independently
Strong oral and written skills
Strong organization and time management skills to ensure patient flow
Ability to meet and deal effectively with others
Proficiency with computer
