Responsibilities
- Accurately track employee attendance and hours worked daily to ensure proper payroll processing.
- Utilize timekeeping software to log and manage employee time entries, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Coordinate with department managers to resolve discrepancies in time records and assist with scheduling needs.
- Generate timely reports on employee attendance trends, overtime, and leave balances for management review.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labor laws and company policies to ensure compliance in timekeeping practices.
- Assist in training new employees on timekeeping procedures and the use of relevant software tools.
- Monitor and audit timekeeping data regularly to identify patterns or issues that require corrective action.
- Communicate effectively with employees regarding timekeeping inquiries, requests for leave, and clocking issues.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate reporting of employee hours for benefits and payroll processing.
- Support the implementation of new timekeeping technologies or processes to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate meaningful reports.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in employee time records and payroll calculations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with employees and management.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations related to employee time and attendance is a plus.
- Can speak English and Hindi.
