We are currently looking for someone with a Cosmetology license who can Assist our stylists and train on our Front Desk for a few days a week.

Responsibilities
- Greet clients warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
- Manage appointment scheduling using salon our software, ensuring efficient flow of services
- Assist stylists and technicians with basic hair care tasks including Front Desk Reception, Shampooing clients and keeping the salon in order.
- Handle front desk duties including answering calls, checking clients in and out, and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Support retail sales by upselling hair products, makeup items, and retail math strategies to enhance client satisfaction and store revenue
- Maintain accurate records of client preferences, services performed, and retail transactions
- Assist with store management tasks such as inventory checks and organizing supplies while fostering a positive team environment
Qualifications
- Passionate about the beauty industry with a desire to learn hair styling techniques including color theory, straight razor shaving, and hair threading
- Basic understanding of salon software systems
- Strong communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Customer service experience with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety protocols within a salon setting
- Willingness to learn about cosmetology and barbering techniques along with retail sales strategies
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
