Join Kelly in supporting a top energy client located in Houston’s Energy Corridor! We’re seeking an experienced Records Clerk II to perform essential clerical duties throughout the Records Lifecycle—including Capture, Storage, Management, and Maintenance of vital company records.

Job Title: Records Clerk II (Houston, TX – Energy Corridor)

Contract: 1 Year

Pay Rate: $17.50/hour

Location: Houston, Texas (Energy Corridor)

Employment Type: Contract (Full-Time)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Create record inventories in SharePoint and Excel for items such as CDs, microfiche, boxes, and binders
  • Review and identify metadata for scanned images
  • Compare documents across multiple sources, assessing discrepancies between physical and electronic records
  • Prepare boxes for offsite storage and manage related data in FRMS (add/update box numbers, generate reports)
  • Update project and task trackers as necessary
  • Assist in folder label creation and placement
  • Complete QA/QC checks on scanned images
  • Contribute to special records projects, including data scrubbing and research for record requests

Job Skills And Qualifications

  • Proven records clerk experience (5–10 years preferred)
  • General knowledge of the Records Lifecycle, including filing, retrieval, and retention
  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint, especially updating SharePoint Lists (required)
  • Experience using general office equipment, copiers, and scanners
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of pipeline or facility records management (preferred)
