East Side Animal Hospital is a privately owned, boutique veterinary practice in east Charlotte. We are looking for a friendly, positive, and dependable receptionist to join our growing team.
We believe great medicine starts with exceptional client service. The receptionist is often the first and last person our clients interact with, so we’re looking for someone who loves helping people, enjoys working with animals, and brings a positive attitude to work every day.
What You’ll Do
- Greet clients and patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Check patients in and out
- Process payments and explain invoices
- Communicate with clients regarding appointments, prescriptions, and medical updates
- Keep the reception area clean and organized
- Help create a welcoming, low-stress environment for pets and their families
- Support the veterinary team with day-to-day administrative tasks
What We’re Looking For

- Strong communication and phone skills
- Ability to stay calm and organized during busy periods
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Comfortable around dogs and cats of all sizes
- Willingness to learn and grow
Experience
- Veterinary reception experience is a plus but not required
