Join our dynamic project team as a Project Controls Administrator/Clerk, where your organizational skills and attention to detail will help drive the success of complex construction projects. In this vital role, you will support project management teams by providing timely and accurate data entry, maintaining accurate project documentation and supporting cost control activities related to budget control, accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract administration and reporting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in construction management software and project controls while contributing to impactful construction and infrastructure initiatives.

Duties

· Support in implementing project procedures for cost control, contract administration, and payment processes.

· Complete data entry related to cost control and contract administration activities.

·Review and compile daily field reports to validate supplier and contractor progress billings and invoices, ensuring supporting documentation and cost coding are accurate, and process invoices for payment.

· Review purchase requisitions against the established budget.

· Support the Project Change management process.

· Assist with the preparation of various project reports as required.

· Monitor and control project documentation.

· Comply and improve document control processes and procedures.

· Ensure all documentation meets formal internal and external requirements and standards.

· Sort, store, and retrieve electronic and hard-copy documents.

· Facilitate effective time management by prioritizing tasks and maintaining accurate logs of project activities.

· Other assigned duties.

Requirements:

Education

  • Associate degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Accounting, or related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative or clerical experience
  • Minimun of 2 years of experience in construction, project controls, accounting, or document management

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Knowledge of spreadsheets, data entry, and report tracking
  • Experience with cost control, accounting, or construction management software is a plus (such as Primavera and Sage 300)

Knowledge & Abilities

  • Basic understanding of construction project documentation and processes
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and organize large volumes of documents
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
