Job Summary
As a Production Processor, you will help prepare inbound merchandise for accurate, high-quality online listings by processing, photographing, and documenting new and used collectible items.
This role supports the Production Department by ensuring items are checked in accurately, presented clearly, and processed efficiently according to Trainz standards. The position requires attention to detail, productivity, and continued learning of model train products, categories, conditions, and listing expectations.
Environment
This is a full-time, on-site position located at the Trainz facility in Flowery Branch, Georgia.
The role is based in a warehouse environment with an open, climate-controlled layout. Temperatures may fluctuate due to weather conditions and the regular use of loading dock doors.
Work is performed at a designated workstation with equipment provided, including a computer, desk, workbench, scale, camera, and related processing tools.
The position requires standing and moving for long periods, repetitive lifting of items up to 30 pounds, and occasional lifting of larger packages up to 60 pounds.

Key Responsibilities
Merchandise Processing & Listings
- Unload, sort, and prepare inbound merchandise for processing
- Check in model trains and collectible items according to Trainz listing standards
- Write accurate product details, including titles, descriptions, categories, condition notes, and related listing information
- Verify shipping-related details such as item size, weight, and shipping cost information
- Maintain a check-in rate of at least 6 items or SKUs per hour for used merchandise and 12 items or SKUs per hour for new merchandise
- Maintain an error rate below 1%
Photography & Presentation
- Photograph merchandise for website listings
- Position items and displays to ensure products are presented clearly and consistently
- Crop and prepare photos according to current listing standards
- Ensure merchandise is displayed and documented accurately before listings are completed
Inventory & Warehouse Support
- Assist with organizing inventory for production processing
- Keep work areas clean, orderly, and ready for efficient processing
- Assist the Production Manager or Team Lead with warehouse clean-up and organization
- Support other Production Department tasks as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and internet research tools
- Model train or collectible industry knowledge is a plus
- Forklift certification is a plus
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with Windows 10, Google Chrome, and email
- Ability to use a computer, camera, scale, and related workstation equipment
- Strong typing, spelling, grammar, and written description skills
- Ability to learn and follow internal systems, standards, and listing processes
Production & Quality Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage time effectively while meeting daily productivity expectations
- Ability to organize physical merchandise and related listing information
- Ability to identify errors, ask questions, and apply feedback to improve work quality
- Ability to work efficiently while following established procedures
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and work on your feet for the majority of the shift
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift larger packages up to 60 pounds
- Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment with physical merchandise and equipment

- Must be a U.S. citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States
