BayCare is currently in search of our newest Practice Operations Consultant who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community. BayCare’s top priority is the health and well-being of our communities as Tampa Bay’s leading multi-specialty group with more than 600 providers practicing 45 specialties in over 175 outpatient locations throughout the Tampa Bay and west central Florida regions.

Position Details:

Location: Tampa, FL (Hybrid)

Status: Full Time (Exempt)

Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (may vary)

Days: Monday – Friday

The Practice Operations Consultant is responsible for:

  • Serves as a vital execution partner within the Practice Advancement department.
  • Responsible for supporting the implementation of enterprise-standard workflows, onboarding resources and operational playbooks across BayCare Medical Group practices.
  • Consults/Partners with operational leaders, clinical teams and enterprise departments to ensure field-level adoption of strategic initiatives ranging from practice transitions and site activations to process standardization and performance improvement.
  • Provides on-site support, feedback integration and change readiness guidance while also contributing to training development and continuous improvement.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree AND 3-5 years in medical group operations, clinical or clerical workflow implementation or healthcare consulting or any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job.
  • Strong operational knowledge, excellent communication and a high degree of adaptability within a matrixed health system environment.
