Centennial Livestock Auction is seeking a dependable, hardworking full-time team member to assist with office operations and sale day support. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced agricultural environment and is comfortable helping in multiple areas as needed.
This role is primarily office and auction operations focused and is best suited for candidates interested in administrative support, customer service, and sale day coordination within the livestock industry. This position is centered around office and sale operations rather than livestock handling duties.
Responsibilities
- Answer phones and emails
- File paperwork and organize records
- Process payments and print checks
- Assist customers during livestock check-in
- Support auction office operations on sale days
- Assist with clerking, running scales, and pen back duties as needed
- Help maintain smooth day-to-day auction operations
- Work closely with office staff and auction personnel
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multitask and adapt during busy sale days
- Basic computer and office skills preferred
- Livestock or agricultural experience is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Position Details
- Full-time W-2 position
- In-office and on-site at auction facility
- Some early mornings, weekends, and long sale days required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the facility during sale days
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
- Comfortable working around livestock and in an active agricultural environment
