We are looking for a committed, organized, detail-oriented and compassionate individual to join our team as a Pharmacy Clerk. The ideal candidate is familiar with closed door pharmacy protocols, will be capable of handling a large volume of phone calls, processing Internet prescriptions, pharmacy billing practices. working with insurance companies, and following strict safety and privacy procedures. The successful candidate will be expected to pay close attention to detail and handle customer complaints in a timely manner.
Responsibilities:
- Work with pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and doctors
- Perform clerical duties.
- Work at a fast pace in a very busy environment.
- Keep accurate documentation of prescriptions and refills.
- Maintain organization.
- Handle customer service responsibilities.
