Position Overview:

$24.00 per hour – pay commensurate with verifiable experience, plus excellent benefits package (health, dental, vision), paid time off, and 401k.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Data Entry Clerk for a prominent commercial contract trucking company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding driver manifest (timesheets). This role requires strong collaboration, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel to ensure accurate payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manifest (Timesheet) Data Entry:

· Review, verify, and code drivers’ manifest for accuracy and completeness.

· Resolve discrepancies or missing information by coordinating with department personnel and terminal managers.

· Sorting and batching weekly manifest.

· Scan, organize, and save driver manifests and payroll-related documents into Docuware.

· Accurately enter coded drivers’ manifest into our payroll system called TMW within designated deadlines.

2. Excel Proficiency:

· Utilize Microsoft Excel for manifest data reporting as needed.

· Maintain spreadsheets to track the drivers’ reimbursements.

Qualifications:

· 1-2 years’ experience with payroll in an office setting – THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION – NOT A REMOTE POSITION

· Trucking industry experience a plus

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel a plus

· Good math skills required

· Excellent computer skills

· Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to meet tight deadlines

· Confidentiality a must

· Efficient at multi-tasking

· Ability to work independently

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing priorities

· Data Entry: 2 years (Required)

· Payroll: 1-2 years (Required)
