Steel and Pipes Inc, is looking for a candidate to fill the following position:
Payroll Clerk
Responsible for payroll processing and record filing, ensuring that employees receive correctly payment with appropriate retentions.
- Manage payroll in and out data for 300 employees.
- Audit electronic time sheets, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies
- Ensure payroll data integrity as well as timely payroll processing
- Process of all incentives and bonuses payment
- Reconcile payroll prior to the transmission and validate confirmed reports
- Made payroll journal entries per payroll cycle and prepared accounting journal entries
- Process request form for payment of bonus, sick, maternity and vacation hours.
- Manage employee’s termination and exit process including payments, documentation, company assets return, cobra package, etc.
- Payroll taxes and General Ledger account reconciliation
- Prepare Direct Deposit schedule for Supervisor to authorize and pay
- Filing all payroll and related documents
- Recruitment process of personnel to open positions
- Another related task
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a major in accounting, preferably, with Experience in Payroll functions.
