Payroll Clerk Jobs in Lufkin at A Pineywoods Home Health Care

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll/File Clerk to support our payroll and administrative functions. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate records, assisting with payroll processes, and providing general support to the Human Resources department. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to multitask effectively, and comfortable working with spreadsheets and basic computer systems.


Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and organize employee files and payroll records in an accurate and timely manner

Assist with payroll processing and ensure all data is entered correctly

Review and work within spreadsheets to track and verify information

Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner

Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department as needed

Perform data entry and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information

Assist with filing, scanning, and document management

Handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload efficiently


Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

Basic computer skills, including familiarity with spreadsheets (Excel preferred)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to maintain confidentiality
