- Maintain employee records, including personal information, tax withholding forms, and direct deposit details.
- Perform account reconciliation to verify payroll data against financial records.
- Prepare journal entries related to payroll transactions for the accounting department.
- Utilize accounting software and financial software to manage payroll data efficiently.
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks as needed to support overall financial operations.
Skills
- Proficiency in accounting principles and practices.
- Experience with payroll systems such as QuickBooks is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of account reconciliation processes.
- Familiarity with various accounting software and financial software applications.
- Knowledge of accounts receivable processes and procedures.
- Excellent 10 key typing skills for accurate data entry.
- Ability to prepare journal entries accurately and efficiently.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in payroll processing.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across departments.
