What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Pre-register and schedule patient encounters for provider services according to established protocols
- Ensure patients have the necessary information to arrive on time and prepared for their procedures
- Receive and process scheduling requests from physician offices and patients
- Maintain open communication with hospital departments regarding schedule changes
- Perform various administrative support duties, including sorting and distributing mail and correspondence
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- At least 1 year of related customer-facing experience Required
- Ability to interact successfully with the public and maintain composure in high-stress situations
- Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and clinical staff
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail in performing job duties
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Call center, patient scheduling, and/or physician front-office experience
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Demonstrated understanding of basic medical terminology
