Opening for part/full-time Patient Representative!
Located in Palos Heights, Illinois.
Dermatology practice in Palos Heights is seeking a friendly, reliable, intelligent candidate who is committed to providing high quality patient service and has a minimum of 1-year MEDICAL OFFICE experience. Candidate should have a mature, positive attitude, professional, ability to take direction, and multitask. This position requires a self-starter, someone who is capable of adapting to a changing environment and the willingness to help out anywhere in the office as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to work self-sufficiently and stay on task without direct supervision.
Day to day responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Great Customer Service
- Greet patients and visitors in a polite and friendly manner
- Checking patients in & out
- Collecting payments
- Answering phones
- Answer questions and quick problem-solving capabilities
- Accurate registration into scheduling system
- Documentation of patient visits in EMA (Modernizing Medicine EMR)
- Other clerical work as needed
Requirements to be considered for this position, a candidate must have:
- A minimum of 1-year MEDICAL OFFICE experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Scheduling System
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and maintain organization in a high-volume environment
- Good time management skills
- Maintain a calm demeanor and attention to detail during periods of high patient volume
This is a full-time position (30 hours per week).
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
