Duties
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures to ensure a positive experience
- Schedule patient appointments accurately using our electronic health record system
- Verify insurance coverage and collect necessary documentation for billing purposes
- Collect and update patient demographic and medical information with precision
- Answer incoming calls promptly, providing clear information and directing inquiries appropriately
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient flow and reduce wait times
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with privacy regulations
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing appointment reminders
Experience
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with medical administrative support tasks such as insurance verification and appointment scheduling
- Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail
