Job Duties
- Interview clients for claims processing
- Draft claims based on client interview
- Serve as point of contact for clients, including obtaining information regarding their claim
- Manage file progression including obtaining relevant documentation and managing settlement process
Qualifications & Requirements
- Paralegal Diploma or equivalent experience
- Exceptional client service skills
- Superior organizational/document management skills with a strong attention to detail
- Fact investigation, analysis and problem-solving abilities
- Computer knowledge including MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook, Internet, Case Management Software
- Advanced knowledge of database management
- Ability to manage work responsibilities in an unstructured environment
- Independent with the ability to confidently make judgment calls and recommendations
- Ability to prioritize tasks and execute deliverables in a timely manner
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Sound business judgment including the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Professional temperament, including the ability to remain calm under difficult circumstances
