Job Overview

AmWest Funding Corp is seeking a detail-oriented Operations Support Clerk to support our Post-Closing team in managing mortgage loan documentation and trailing loan files. This role helps ensure loan files are complete, compliant, and delivered to investors within required timelines. It is a great opportunity for someone interested in building a career in mortgage operations or financial services.

Responsibilities

  • Review mortgage loan documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Track trailing documents including recorded mortgages, assignments, and title policies.
  • Follow up on outstanding documentation to ensure loan files are completed in a timely manner.
  • Upload and organize loan documentation within the Loan Origination System (LOS).
  • Coordinate shipment of documents to investors and document custodians.
  • Support the operations team with administrative and documentation tasks.
  • Provides cross-functional support to front desk operations when needed, serving as an initial point of contact by welcoming visitors, managing calls, and coordinating mail distribution.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
  • Administrative, financial services, or mortgage industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
