Robert Half is partnering with the with one of our top clients to identify a highly organized Operations Specialist to support day-to-day program operations and administrative functions within a fast-paced public housing environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels at coordinating processes, maintaining compliance documentation, and supporting program staff to ensure efficient delivery of housing services across the county.
The Operations Specialist will play a key role in maintaining operational workflows, supporting reporting requirements, and assisting with program tracking systems that support housing assistance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational and administrative support to housing program teams, ensuring smooth day-to-day program execution.
- Maintain and update program data, records, and internal tracking systems to ensure accuracy and compliance with housing program requirements.
- Coordinate documentation related to housing assistance programs, contracts, and participant records.
- Assist with reporting, data analysis, and preparation of operational summaries for leadership and program managers.
- Support cross-department communication and coordinate internal meetings, schedules, and follow-up actions.
- Monitor program workflows, identify process improvement opportunities, and assist with implementing operational efficiencies.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to program operations and direct requests to the appropriate department.
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of operations, program coordination, or administrative experience (public sector or housing programs preferred).
- Experience working with databases or case management systems and maintaining detailed records.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
