Andy’s Towing is seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Operations Assistant to support our towing and roadside assistance operation.
This position works directly with our Operations Manager to help coordinate daily service calls, support drivers and dispatch, assist customers, and keep office operations running efficiently. We are looking for someone who can handle a fast-paced environment, communicate professionally, and stay organized while managing multiple responsibilities throughout the day.
Responsibilities
- Support the Operations Manager in daily office operations and cross-train in key administrative and operational functions
- Coordinate and dispatch towing and roadside service calls
- Communicate with drivers, customers, insurance companies, and vendors
- Monitor service progress and provide customer updates
- Handle invoices, paperwork, impound documentation, and service records
- Maintain organized dispatch logs and customer files
- Assist with scheduling, workflow coordination, and administrative tasks
- Provide professional customer service and problem-solving support
Qualifications
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to deal with others professionally with tact and courtesy
- Ability to maintain a professional presence
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications, with strong organizational, typing, and time-management skills
- Must successfully complete a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Dispatching, logistics, transportation, or office experience preferred
- CDL, leadership or managerial experience is considered an asset, but not required
