Partners Professional is seeking candidates for a new opportunity as an Office Coordinator and payroll in Conyers GA. Our client is a nationally recognized brand with facilities across the US. The selected candidate will support the Conyers location with reporting, payroll processing and personnel administration. This position will be Onsite daily Monday through Friday with normal, first shift hours. You must have experience in payroll processing, AP/AR support, reporting, managing document filing and preferably having worked in a logistics or warehouse work environment from the office/administration department.
Responsibilities:
· Payroll Processing: Collections and verification of pay sheets for location. Input payroll into dedicated system. Monitor for adjustments for vacation pay, travel advances, expenses.
· Generate final payroll transmissions and verify amounts with check register Prior to check distribution.
· AP/AR Support: light accounting tasks such as preparing accounts payable and receivables for bills and documents for incoming/outgoing.
· Filing and Documenting: completing DOT files per regulations, ordering MVRs, maintaining files for location- electronic and/or hard copies. Ensuring proper and necessary reports and documents are sent to corporate headquarters.
· HR Support: scheduling compliance requirements such as pre-employment drug screens, physicals, Employee profiles completion, attendance records.
Requirements:
· Required experience working from a front office in a logistics or warehouse environment. 2 years.
· Required experience working with payroll processing
· Required High School diploma, GED
· Working with documents, filings (Electronic, hard copy), reporting,
· High Attention to detail and personal organization skills. Ability to flex priorities and be a self-starter, working both independently as well as collaboratively
· Understanding that reliability, attendance, and Accountability are all necessary to be successful in this role and fast paced environment.
· MS Office Suite is required with Excel knowledge. Payroll and accounting software is strongly preferred. Strong data entry, with accuracy as well as electronic filing and scanning skills are necessary.
