Job Summary
We’re looking for an organized, friendly, and dependable Office Administrator/Customer Service Rep to join the Barefoot Grass team. You’ll be the first voice our customers hear and the heartbeat of our daily office operations — answering calls, scheduling services, supporting our technicians, and keeping the office running smoothly. If you’re a proactive problem-solver who enjoys helping people and staying organized, this is a great opportunity to grow with a local, fast-growing lawn care and pest control company.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer emails and texts with professional, friendly service
- Schedule lawn care, pest control, and mosquito service appointments
- Enter and update customer accounts, service history, and notes in our customer management software
- Handle billing tasks including invoicing, processing payments, and following up on past-due accounts
- Communicate with customers about service visits, reschedules due to weather, and program details
- Assist with new customer onboarding — setting up accounts, sending welcome info, and answering program questions
- Support hiring and onboarding of new team members and maintain personnel records
- Coordinate office supplies, vendor orders, and general office organization
- Help resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally, escalating to management when needed
Skills & Qualifications
- Prior experience in office administration, customer service, or a front-office role
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills — you’ll be talking with customers all day
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills; able to juggle calls, scheduling, and follow-ups
- Comfortable learning new software (experience with Real Green, ServiceTitan, or similar field service software is a plus)
- Basic bookkeeping/invoicing experience (QuickBooks experience a plus)
- Positive attitude, reliable, and a team player
- Experience in lawn care, pest control, or another home services industry is a plus but not required

Pay: $20.00 – $30.00 per hour
