– Medical Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team full-time. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting patients, working closely with healthcare providers, and managing both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
- Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2
- Schedule:
- Monday – Friday
- 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST (flexible)
- 30-minute lunch break
Key Responsibilities
- Process prescription refill requests as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance
- Prepare and maintain patient charts by accurately updating information in the electronic health records (EHR) system
- Monitor and respond to patient portal messages with professionalism and compassion
- Coordinate communication between patients and providers to ensure clear and timely information exchange
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing documentation
Compensation
- $22 per hour during the initial 90-day (or less) probationary period
- $24 per hour following a successful 90-day performance review

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfort working with EHR systems and patient portals
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Patient-focused, reliable, and detail-oriented
