EXPERIENCED Front Office Medical Receptionist in Orthopedic Clinic
Orthopedic clinic in Culver City looking for an enthusiastic applicant who is looking for a front office position managing the following:
1- ability to verify all types of insurance, check deductibles online on Availity for private insurance and Medicare.
2-schedule and confirm appointments.
3-applicant should have prior experience with workers comp patients and personal injury patients referred by attorneys.
4- Job requires good time managements and people skills to manage phone calls, emails and talking to patients on a daily basis. Applicant must be able to check and respond to emails daily to communicate with patients, physical therapy centers, MRI centers and respond in a timely manner.
This job position is mainly a front office position which entails confirming appointments and making sure the flow of the schedule runs smoothly on a daily basis. Applicant will be greeting patients daily, prepping charts, making sure patients are ready for their appointments, putting in time to papers file patient documents in charts and can assist the doctor with faxing paperwork to schedule surgeries or other appointments needed for patient. For workers compensation patients , it is important to know how to send RFA to adjustors to approval of all procedures and initial consult.
