Job Description
The role is a full time position working 8 hour shifts, Monday to Friday, between 6:15am-10pm. You will also perform 1 Saturday shift per month, of 7:45am-2pm at overtime rates. Once settled in the role there will be the opportunity for additional weekend work.
Role Overview
As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Greeting patients warmly and assisting with check-in procedures.
- Answering emails and phone calls promptly and handling inquiries professionally.
- Advising patients of preparation prior to relevant scans.
- Billing procedures – private, Medicare, workers compensation, and DVA.
- Collaborating with clerical and technical staff, radiologists, and referrers.
