Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients, ensuring a positive and friendly experience.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility accurately and efficiently.
- Obtain pre-authorizations and referrals as required by insurance providers.
- Coordinate with insurance companies to resolve any coverage issues or discrepancies.
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar effectively.
- Handle administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and maintaining a clean and organized reception area.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist with a strong background in insurance verification.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare processes.
- Proficient in computer skills and experience with insurance verification software or systems.
