Responsibilities
- Provides exceptional customer service while safely moving, packing, and unpacking customer belongings.
- Moves and arranges heavy pieces of office and household furniture, equipment, and appliances.
- Carefully and efficiently packs items to prevent damage while moving.
- Breaks down and sets up furniture items based on customer needs.
- Organizes items being moved to efficiently utilize available space while loading and unloading vehicles.
- Individual(s) will be responsible for loading, unloading & transporting office equipment/furniture & dispositioning items to locations in the National Capital region.
Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen with ability to pass a thorough background and credit check to be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a Public Trust security clearance.
- Must have access to reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift and carry 80 pounds or more repeatedly throughout the day.
- Must be able to stand, sit, reach, bend and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be willing to work in all types of weather.
- Must demonstrate reliability and punctuality.
