We are seeking a part time Kennel Technician and Receptionist to join our team! You will be responsible for the overall care and well-being of the animals at our facility. Looking for someone who is reliable, dedicated, and loves animals. This is a part time position 10 to 30 hours a week. $14.00 to 15.00 an hour based on experience. Must be able to start immediately.
Must be able to work holidays: july 4th, labor day!
Responsibilities:
- Handle general care tasks such as feeding and grooming of the animals
- Picking up/cleaning poop/pee outside and inside
- Cleaning and disinfecting kennels and play areas
- Engage and monitor play activities and exercise with the animals
- Loving on the animals
- Answering phones, emails, customers about the service.
- Checking in/out pets.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in animal care or other related fields
- Passion to care for animals
- Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Own/reliable transportation
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 – $15.00 per hour
