Job Description:
Meeks Cockroft Agency is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented person to join our growing team in a support role that serves as a launching pad into a career in insurance. No insurance experience required, we’ll train the right person.
In this role, you’ll support our service team with day-to-day tasks that keep the agency running smoothly: answering phones, handling client requests, processing documents, and learning the ins and outs of insurance along the way. As you grow, so does your role.
What you’ll do:
- Answer phones and assist clients with basic questions and requests
- Issue certificates of insurance and other policy documents
- Send notices, coordinate eSign requests, and handle general correspondence
- Perform data entry, filing, and administrative support tasks
- Work alongside experienced team members and learn the business from the ground up
What we’re looking for:
- Organized, reliable, and a quick learner
- Comfortable on the phone and with people
- Proficient with basic computer tasks
- A desire to build a long-term career, not just fill a seat
