Role Overview
The Accounts Clerk is responsible for supporting the financial operations of the company. This position involves administrative and clerical tasks related to managing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable to ensure accurate and efficient financial processes.
Main Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable & Customer Billing: Preparing, issuing, and maintaining accurate customer invoices, ensuring timely billing and proper documentation of all transactions.
- Financial Support: Responsibilities include daily reconciliations, processing invoices, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable.
- Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, inventory, and supplier contracts.
- Software Utilization: Proficiency in accounting software and inventory control systems is typically required for inputting data and managing records.
- Accounts Payable & Invoice Management: Inputting supplier invoices, verifying their accuracy against purchase orders (PO), and processing payments.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Competencies
- Previous experience in an accounting or clerical finance role.
- Hold a minimum of MQF Level 4 in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with accounting software.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality.
