The IPAC Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring effective daily operations across the IPAC Hub team. This position demands strong administrative skills and the ability to support educational and surveillance activities. You’ll be responsible for communicating with hospitals and community partners, managing workflows, and tracking infection prevention metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide logistical support to the IPAC Hub team daily
• Act as a resource for infection data and metrics
• Organize community IPAC Hub visits and education sessions
• Track IPAC-related metrics for quality improvement
• Prepare meeting agendas, attend meetings, and record minutes
Requirements:
• College diploma in health-related or administrative field
• Completion of an IPAC course and membership in IPAC Canada
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience required
• Advanced skills in data management and analysis
• Knowledge of infection control standards and regulations
