Schedule: Flexible; days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Position Summary
peach tree inn is seeking a reliable, professional, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Clerk / Part-Time Housekeeper. This dual-role position is responsible for providing excellent guest service at the front desk while also assisting with housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for all guests.
The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the flexibility to assist in various areas of hotel operations as needed.
Front Desk Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
- Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately.
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries.
- Process reservations, payments, and guest transactions.
- Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and shift logs.
- Keep the front desk area clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
- Clean and sanitize the front desk area at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Empty trash receptacles in the front desk and lobby areas at the start and end of each shift and as needed throughout the day.
- Restock front desk supplies, brochures, and guest materials.
- Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the lobby and common areas.
- Follow all hotel policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
Housekeeping Responsibilities
- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels.
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms and guest room surfaces.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust guest rooms and common areas.
- Restock guest amenities and housekeeping supplies.
- Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns promptly.
- Ensure all assigned areas are clean, organized, and guest-ready.
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous hotel, customer service, or housekeeping experience is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 25 pounds, standing for extended periods, bending, and walking throughout the property.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Availability Requirements
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
- Must be willing to work any assigned shift based on operational needs.

- Employees may be offered additional hours based on occupancy levels, staffing needs, and performance.
Extended Shift Opportunities
- Opportunities for additional hours and expanded responsibilities may be available.
- On occasion, employees may be offered extended or 24-hour shift assignments to assist with hotel operations.
- Overnight accommodations may be provided by the hotel for employees working approved overnight or extended shifts.
- Advance notice will be provided whenever possible for extended scheduling needs.
