Hearing Unlimited, an established private practice in the Eastern Pittsburgh area is seeking an energetic, motivated, and detail-oriented individual to lead our front office operations. This role is key in creating a welcoming environment for patients while ensuring smooth, efficient, and high-quality daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming patient calls and maintain an organized, efficient schedule
- Confidently handle a high volume of phone calls while delivering excellent service
- Contact patients to confirm appointments and minimize gaps in scheduling
- Track and report daily scheduling metrics, including adherence to company phone call
performance standards.
- Professionally handle telephone inquiries and patient requests
- Greet patients promptly and provide exceptional, quality customer service
- Maintain accurate patient records within the scheduling system with a high level of attention to
detail.
- Prepare and type correspondence for providers and staff
- Oversee daily front office operations while fostering a professional, high-quality workplace
- Coordinate appointments to optimize both patient satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Create and update electronic health records (EHR) with precision and accuracy
- Verify patient insurance information thoroughly
Qualifications;
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of front office experience, ideally in a medical setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable managing high call volumes and not hesitant to answer phones
- Ability to follow and meet company phone call metrics and performance expectations
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Flexible and adaptable to changing environments
