About the Role
A radiology scheduler is responsible for coordinating medical imaging appointments (like X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and ultrasounds) to ensure patients receive timely care.
Responsibilities:
· Scheduling imaging appointments
· Collecting patient information and verifying insurance
· Preparing patients with instructions (e.g., fasting or contrast prep)
· Managing cancellations, rescheduling, and urgent requests
Location
ProScan Imaging at NCH, Naples, Florida.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· 1 year of experience in health related or human service organization required.
· Familiar with basic medical terminology and medical terminology associated with the specialty business preferred.
