Be the newest addition to our team at Medieval Putt Indoor Mini Golf Course.
We are looking to hire a part time Front Desk Person. We are looking for a candidate that is available for evening shifts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday. An open availability will help get even more hours. Wednesday and Thursday (3:30pm – 10:00pm)
Sunday (3:30pm – 9:00pm) Also someone willing to cover shifts as needed.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to provide an excellent mini golf experience. The Front Desk Person is responsible for being the first welcoming face upon entry, greeting customers, taking party reservations, answering the phone, and working the front counter.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer the telephone courteously, and complete all sales transactions
- Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned
- Scheduling and keep track of private events and parties, set up and break down party rooms
- Ensure merchandise inventory is kept neat, attractively displayed and sufficiently stocked; upselling merchandise
- Provide golf balls and clubs to mini golf customers and explain the courses.
- Operate a cash register and receive payment from customers in cash or credit card, and accurately count and provide change to customers when applicable
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain the front counter, golf course, sitting area, bathrooms and common areas
- Inspect mini golf and concession facilities and equipment to ensure the safety, cleanliness, and proper working order; report all issues when applicable
- You may be required to perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
- Must be 17 years of age or older
- Previous customer service experience, preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Observant with strong people skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc. for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs.
