Job Description: Front Desk Associate – PADELHUB Overview
The Front Desk Associate plays a key role in delivering an exceptional member and guest experience at PADELHUB. This role oversees reception operations, customer service, bookings, communications, and supports the overall functioning of the club.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesMember and Guest Management
· Greet members and guests warmly and professionally.
· Provide tours of the club and explain amenities.
· Assist with inquiries about facilities, memberships, schedules, and services.
· Manage reservations for court bookings and activities using PlaybyPoint.
· Promote and sell memberships, Academy Programs, and private lessons.
· Onboard new members and assist with app/account setup and bookings.
Communication and Coordination
· Respond to phone calls and emails ([email protected], [email protected], [email protected]).
· Manage iMessage, WhatsApp, and Instagram direct messages.
· Actively manage WhatsApp community groups.
· Promote Open Game Matches and assist in matching partners for OpenPlays and tournaments.
Food & Beverage Operations
· Sell snacks and beverages.
· Serve water and refreshments during events and tournaments.
Pro‑shop Operations
· Assist with equipment purchases.
· Rent demo and starter racquets.
· Sell padel balls.
Administrative & IT Support
· Troubleshoot and coordinate with PlaybyPoint to resolve software issues.
· Process credit card payments for bookings, Pro‑shop, and F&B items.
· Maintain and update user accounts in the club software.
· Manage refunds as needed.
Facility Maintenance
· Keep reception, lounge area, courts, and common areas clean and organized.
· Monitor locker rooms and restrooms regularly and address issues.
General Support
· Maintain high customer service standards to create a welcoming and inclusive environment.
· Proactively address member needs and escalate issues to management when required.
· Ensure safety for guests, members, children, and young adults.
Skills & Experience Required
· Experience in customer service or hospitality (fitness centers, leisure facilities, cafés, hotels, or restaurants preferred).
· Experience handling customer inquiries and complaints in person, via email, and by phone.
· Proficiency with POS systems and club/booking management software.
· Sales experience promoting and selling memberships, services, or events.
· Experience in food and beverage service (coffee preparation is a plus).
· Front desk or reservations management experience is a plus.
· Passion for padel or racquet sports is highly desirable.
· Strong ownership mentality and accountability.
· Client‑oriented approach with commitment to outstanding customer service.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills with a warm and engaging presence.
· Comfort with digital tools including POS systems, WhatsApp, iMessage, and Microsoft Office.
· Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
