Field Manager – Commercial Roofing Jobs in Spartanburg, SC at Guy Roofing
The Field Manager manages jobs to ensure completed safely, correctly, on time, on budget and in compliance with Guy Roofing and OSHA requirements. Ensure Installations are according to Manufacturer’s Requirements/Specifications and maintain the high quality expected from Guy Roofing. Extensive travel may be required in this role.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for managing jobs and crews to ensure jobs are completed on time, correctly and within customer requirements/guidelines.
- Coordinate and oversee all work on site.
- Oversee job installation and ensure quality standards are met or exceeded.
- Ability to identify deficient work and provide resolution.
- Ensure daily reports are submitted timely
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and concerns
- Identify and document change orders for additional work.
- Ensure all OSHA and Guy Roofing Safety practices/policies are followed.
- Ensure all subcontract labor adheres to Company safety and quality requirements
- Perform final inspections, resolve any quality issues
- Complete all required paperwork promptly and accurately.
- Respond to telephone and electronic communications.
- Perform word processing, photocopying, faxing, data entry, scanning, and other administrative duties.
- Additional responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active driver license
- Good communication skills, ability to problem solving, detail oriented.
- Able to carry a ladder and climb on the roof
- Able to Travel 100% – could be gone weeks at a time
- Must be able to work Overtime
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
